Met three new friends

Delivery day again -- we had a brand new youth join us and I think he was a bit impressed with the whole thing. It is one thing to hear about the camps and the people, but it is a whole different thing to actually experience everything for yourself.

We had to hustle because this new youth needed to be back in time for his job, and it all worked out nicely.

It was a very cold day, probably the coldest delivery day ever. Everything was normal until we went to one of the motels where a really nice couple live. They always take extra bags of food from us to deliver to other people who live at the motel.

Today, our friends told us about a new couple who just moved in. We made sure we could give them food and boy were they thankful. One had just gotten out of prison and they were very anxious to get their lives in order. They had Bibles on the dresser and they loved it when we prayed for them. In fact, one even voiced a wonderful prayer himself.

They had nothing at all. We gave them two blankets we had with us and I promised we would return the next day with more food.

The really cool thing was that they could see God's hand in our visit.

We certainly saw God at work again out on Route One.
